Yanpai to Add Four Lines of Needle-punched Nonwovens – Nonwovens Industry Magazine

Yanpai Filtration Technology Co., Ltd., a Chinese filtration media manufacturer, will expand needling capacity at its site in Tiantai, China, with the investment of four Andritz lines. The new lines will start operating in the third quarter of 2022 and are expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2023.

Andriz will provide customized needling lines for the production of high quality needled filter felts. The lines will enable Yanpai to achieve advanced technical characteristics in terms of product quality and line performance. Dry web forming equipment (cards and cross webs) will be manufactured at Andritz Wuxi’s facility, including 8 PRO 25-80 aXcess profile cross lappers for controlled web weight consistency. The 16 eXcelle needle looms will be supplied by ANDRITZ Asselin-Thibeau in France.
