The IDEA Achievement Awards recognize leading companies and new innovations (since IDEA in 2019) in the global technical fabrics industry in six categories. Companies can nominate their products, or their customers’ products in as many categories as possible, which are:
• Advancement of sustainability (advances one or more elements of sustainability or circularity since 2019)
• Equipment (best introduction of new equipment since 2019)
• Raw materials (best introduction of new raw materials since 2019)
• Short-Life (best introduction of new disposable product since 2019)
• Long lifespan (best introduction of new sustainable product since 2019)
• Non-woven product (best introduction of new non-woven product since 2019)
The submission deadline is now extended until February 1, 2022. Selections will be made by industry members voting by Nonwovens Industry Magazine. The selection of the Entrepreneur’s Award will be made by Nonwovens Industry Magazine.

The highly successful IDEA in 2019 attracted over 6,500 industry attendees and over 500 exhibitors from over 70 countries to advance their business in nonwovens and technical fabrics. The 2022 event marks the 21st edition of IDEA, with the show hailing from 1971.
In addition to the IDEA Achievement Awards, the highlights of the global industry event include hundreds of exhibitors showcasing their latest innovations; a conference presenting the impacts of the pandemic on the global nonwovens supply chain and recovery in China, South America, Asia, North America and Europe; and a series of short-term training opportunities called “Nonwoven Essentials”, led by industry experts.
