On the heels of the ultra-successful (and super-buzz) reality TV competition Slag Wars, OUTtv is rocketing back to your screens with an all-new and (right on brand) never-before-seen kind of reality competition. hot house brings together a whole new generation of queer sex workers and creators of sex-positive content (aptly titled “The Hotties”). They are put through a series of provocative challenges, with $10,000 up for grabs (provided by Scruff). In a clever twist, each week the eliminated Hottie will join the judging panel, while still residing with the other contestants. Together the Hotties will explore “Community, gayness and creativity…with lots of drama along the way”!
Few could muster a house full of energetics and hotties like the crew that was chosen hot house, so that this honor goes to the “HBIC” itself, Tiffany Pollard, who serves as both a mentor and guide to the contestants during the show. The regular jury is made up of rap superstars Cupcake Ke, dynamic trans activist and showgirl Nicki Monet, and superstar adult performer Matthew Camp. As for the aforementioned Hotties, the group is diverse, eclectic, and definitely ready to rock. They are: SEVNDEEP, sapphire killer, Royal Fantasy Gaga, Kashi Dinero, Saint Anique, Juju Minxxx,& scratch.
Why is it hot house special? Executive producer and showrunner Topher Cusamano said “Sex workers, sex educators and creators of sex-positive content have never had the chance to share the wide range of their talents and lived experiences. We wanted to change that. We are proud that the cast of ‘Hot Haus’ is made up of queer POC, trans and non-binary folx, and representatives from the kink and sex work communities.
“Daddy TV was created to provide a platform for underserved communities and Hot Has is a significant contribution to that work. That’s why we’re so fortunate to partner with OUTtv on this project – we share the same mission of change the way queer folx are portrayed in the media.
