Governor General David Hurley is the latest prominent figure to test positive for COVID-19, as the virus continues to spread across the country.

The diagnosis was revealed by a statement from Government House on Sunday evening.

General Hurley is doubly vaccinated and has received his booster, the statement said.

“His Excellency is only experiencing mild symptoms,” the statement said.
