BontexGeo Acquires Spanish Geotextile Fabric Producer – Nonwovens Industry Magazine

BontexGeo Group, a European industry leader in the production and sale of geosynthetics for civil engineering applications, has agreed to acquire 100% of the shares of the company Geotexan SA, based in Minas de Riotinto, Huelva (ES), specialized in the production and sale of geosynthetics and fibers with a strong position in the Spanish market.

Thanks to this acquisition, finalized on March 21, 2022, BontexGeo strengthens its geographical presence across Europe.

Geotexan SA is a leading company in the Spanish market, specializing in the development, production and sale of nonwoven geotextiles, other geosynthetics and fibers. It plays a leading role in one of the biggest countries in Europe with sales reaching South America. Geotexan SA is located in Minas de Riotinto, Huelva, near Seville.
