Off-road/off-road (OTR) tire manufacturer BKT has launched a web portal, a metaverse it calls BKT Land. The site, a virtual reality space where users can live, interact and learn, offers immersive experiences through an avatar that provides access to multiple areas of the site.
The starting point is a central hall, or landing point, where an avatar guides the user to the different areas of the portal. There are three showrooms containing the company’s tire lines, divided into three main segments: agricultural, OTR and industrial. Each showroom features more than 50 products, which can be examined through 3D exploration to view product data sheets and other video support.
Besides the showrooms, there are also four themed areas, targeting sponsorships, networking, fans and events.
Entering the referrals area places the user in the sports area of the BKT world. The events area takes the user to BKT’s scheduled international initiatives. Thanks to the network space, users can discover the BKT universe up close through video interviews and content from the “BKT Network” digital hub. And the fan zone offers virtual challenges and playful moments of entertainment that can be shared with other users.
