Angelini Industries Takes Full Ownership of Fameccanica – Nonwovens Industry Magazine

Angelini Industries, a multi-business Italian industrial group present in 26 countries with 5,700 employees, has signed an agreement with Procter & Gamble to buy 50% of Fameccanica, which until now was a 50/50 joint venture between the two companies . The agreement will give Angelini Industries 100% ownership of the international company specializing in automation and robotics for the consumer goods industry.

The closing of the transaction is subject to the approval of the French Competition Authority and is expected in June 2022.

The agreement aims to consolidate the continued growth and diversification of Angelini Industries as it becomes increasingly active in the field of industrial technology, thanks to the skills and know-how of Fameccanica, which will retain its leadership unchanged under Alessandro Bulfon.
